According to Senior Vice-President Doug Anderson “Although Canadians tell us they are unlikely to reduce their handshaking or embracing in order to avoid spreading H1N1, but they will certainly be quite comfortable if someone they're meeting opts not to. It shows there's a respect for the concerns others may have, but less conviction that this is a practice they will likely need to adopt themselves.”
